However, this comes at a time when the former American Idol star has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The fire was the latest blow to Underwood as she tried to celebrate Father’s Day with her husband, former NHL player Mike Fisher.
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher’s home reportedly caught fire on Sunday night. Thankfully, the singer and athlete’s children and animals were unharmed during the scary situation. Underwood’s rep made a quick statement about the event. However, the cause of the fire is still under investigation, per Us Weekly.

“There was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained,” Underwood’s rep told the outlet. “There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.”
The local fire department was called to the scene just before 10 pm on Father’s Day. The flames reportedly originated in the singer’s garage, as firefighters were successful in stopping the fire before is spread to the couple’s home.
“Crews from all eight of our stations responded,” officials said in a statement. “Fairview Fire provided a tanker and crew as well. Upon arrival, 1401 found flames coming from the garage. Crews were able to knock down the fire quickly to prevent spread into the house.”
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. However, WKRN claims that the flames may have originated from a UTV parked next to Underwood’s garage.
This is just the latest unfortunate headline surrounding Carrie Underwood. Recently, the singer sparked concern from fans when she appeared to take a nasty fall on stage during a performance during a rainstorm. Thankfully, she appeared to be just fine after the scary spill.
