Just hours before Middleton’s appearance at the Royal event, Markle’s lifestyle brand debuted some new products. Per OK Magazine, the Duchess’s close friend Nacho Figueras unveiled the updates in an Instagram Story update. He posted a photo of a new raspberry-flavored jam from the brand and teased a new product coming to the collection. Markle’s pal uploaded an image of his dog lying next to a jar of dog biscuits from American Riviera Orchard.

After Markle’s product went viral, fans accused her of trying to steal the spotlight from her sister-in-law’s big return. One fan wrote, “No. Meghan can never outshine Princess Kate, not then, now, ever.” Another comment read, “So, Markle’s plan to upstage Catherine’s return was to launch her new jam and dog biscuits.” A third fan penned:
