Jason Kelce didn’t expect to get so emotional at his first Eras Tour concert. On Friday, June 21, the retired NFL star and his wife, Kylie Kelce, watched Taylor Swift perform at Wembley Stadium in London. Jason opened up about the experience on his New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother and Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce. During the episode, he admitted he was so moved by Swift’s performance that he cried.
Jason Kelce Dishes On Attending Eras Tour
Jason said Swift’s concert in London was “amazing.” While he already knew she was a talented singer and songwriter, he said watching her perform live was really something else. “It was insanely impressive,” he said. The former Philadelphia Eagles player gave Swift props for putting on a nearly four-hour long show. Travis, who’s been dating the singer for nearly a year, agreed it’s “insane” that she performs 45 songs each night.
Jason continued praising Swift by saying he had an “awesome experience” at her Eras Tour. His favorite part of the show, however, was seeing her interact with a fan during her performance of “22.” Each concert, the star gives her fedora hat to a lucky fan in the audience. When Jason saw the moment first hand, he couldn’t help but get emotional. He told his brother:
The 22 hat? Dude, I’ve never cried at a f*cking concert and I was literally tearing up watching this little girl’s entire … I’m about to tear up right now. It was f*cking so special.

Jason’s reaction comes as no surprise. Since he’s a father, it’s no wonder he cried while watching the young fan get surprised by Swift.
Jason and Kylie Kelce are parents to three little girls. The couple welcomed their oldest daughter, Wyatt, in October 2019. Their second daughter, Elliotte, arrived in March 2021. Meanwhile, their youngest daughter, Bennett, was born in February 2023. The football icon has previously revealed that his girls are big fans of Taylor Swift.
It seems after attending the Eras Tour, Jason has become a big Swiftie himself, too.
