Perfume bottles are one of several weapon types added in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, and boy, are they fun to play with! If you were annoyed by the perfumers in the base game, well, now you can give them a taste of their own medicine. And the fun part? Perfume bottles come in a variety of “flavors,” from fire to madness. They’re even more effective when you add the Rolling Sparks Ash of War for an explosive effect. There are a total of five perfume bottles in Elden Ring, so let’s start looking!
Elden Ring: Firespark Perfume Bottle Location
The Firespark Perfume Bottle is the easiest weapon to find out of the five; in fact, you can pick it up just before you do battle with Rellana in Castle Ensis. The closest site of grace to the weapon is Castle Front; however, if you don’t have that, the Three-Path Cross site of grace will do just fine, too.
From the Castle Front site of grace, head south into the Messmer camp, right where the Ellac Greatbridge starts. You’ll find the Firespark Perfume Bottle inside a chest.
If you’re coming from the Three-Path Cross site of grace, head northeast and cross the Ellac Greatbridge. The same Messmer camp will be on your right, just as you cross the bridge. Again, it’s in the chest.
Elden Ring: Deadly Poison Perfume Bottle Location
The second easiest perfume bottle to get in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is the Deadly Poison Perfume Bottle. It’s actually not too far from where the Firespark Perfume Bottle is, just a stone’s throw away. If you have the Pillar Path Cross site of grace, fast-travel to it; otherwise, you’re starting from the Castle Front site of grace like before.
From the site of grace, follow the path that leads east to southeast, but break away to a small landing when you reach a small Messmer encampment. When you see Miquella’s Cross in the distance, head straight for it.
You’ll find the NPC Thiollier chilling on a log by the Pillar Path Cross site of grace. He’ll see you the Deadly Poison Perfume Bottle for 6000 runes. If Thiollier isn’t there, you’ll find him at the Stone Coffin Fissure site of grace, at the most southern point of the Cerulean Coast.
Elden Ring: Lightning Perfume Bottle Location
As for the Lightning Perfume Bottle in Elden Ring, you’ll have to reach the Cerulean Coast. The closest site of grace is the one with the same name, the Cerulean Coast SoG. Stay on Torrent for this one because you’ll have to ride through some danger.
From the Cerulean Coast site of grace, head northeast, hugging the cliff to your right (past the waterfall) and to a small pond. It’s being circled by a lightning goat, who you can kill, but it isn’t necessary. The Lightning Perfume Bottle is right in the center of the pond, on a corpse. Be careful, though; lightning will periodically strike the pond and spread out.
Elden Ring: Chilling Perfume Bottle Location
Using my screenshot as a guide, I’ve carved the path you’ll take, starting from the Pillar Path Waypoint site of grace. Keep in mind that the path will take you underground, through Dragon’s Pit, then above ground to Charo’s Hidden Grave, then under the landscape a smidge to Lamenter’s Gaol.
Upon entering Lamenter’s Gaol, you’re going to notice the path splits into two: the left path leads further into the dungeon while the right path is a locked gate. To find the Chilling Perfume Bottle, you’ll need to unlock the gate. Luckily, the key is far away!
So, take the path on the left, further into Lamenter’s Gaol and enter the second room on the right. At the back of the room is the Gaol Upper Level Key. Go back to the gate, unlock it, and slide down the ladder, and you’ll come to a room with ice on the ground.
As soon as you enter the room, kill the humanoid blob, then enter the room to the right. You’ll find the Chilling Perfume Bottle on a corpse.
Elden Ring: Frenzyflame Perfume Bottle Location
Last, but not least is the Frenzyflame Perfume Bottle, which you likely won’t get until much further along in Elden Ring due to the weapon being in the Abyssal Woods. In fact, you won’t even be able to enter Abyssal Woods until Jori, the Elder Inquisitor, is defeated.
If you’re just stepping into the Abyssal Woods, head to the most southeastern point on the map, right next to where the map marker is. You’ll find the Abandoned Church there, along with a map fragment just outside the church.
Enter the Abandoned Church and make a left. Behind some rubble, on a corpse, is the Frenzyflame Perfume Bottle. Don’t forget to grab the Scadutree Fragment at the altar, too.
