Justin Timberlake seems to have learned his lesson. More than a week after being disgracefully arrested for ‘Driving While under the Influence’ (DWI), the singer is choosing to stay away from cars. Timberlake was seen during a recent outing, opting to take a stroll rather than be behind the wheel.
On Thursday, the Cry Me a River artist took a break from his ongoing Forget Tomorrow World Tour. He was seen walking to golf lessons in New York City. According to Page Six, Timberlake walked six blocks from his apartment to a golfing facility in lower Manhattan, refusing to drive. He was photographed wearing a white graphic T-shirt, blue baseball shorts, and a bright blue baseball cap. Timberlake seemed in good spirits and was accompanied by a male caddie.
It is unclear why the 43-year-old chose to walk such a long distance. However, New York Law dictates that those booked for driving while intoxicated may have their license suspended for a minimum of six months or up to a year. Recall that Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor after a night of partying with friends. He was described as having “bloodshot/glassy eyes” during the stop. The singer has since been charged with one count of driving while intoxicated and two other traffic violations.
Justin Timberlake Has Wife Jessica Biel’s Support
As Timberlake continues to deal with the aftermath of his arrest, the 10-time Grammy Award winner at least has the support of his wife, Jessica Biel. Despite reports that the incident strained their marriage, the actress seems to have her man’s back. Biel was seen being a supportive wife at Timberlake’s Madison Square Garden concert on Tuesday. She happily watched her man from the VIP section, dancing and singing along to his songs.
However, other sources allege that Biel’s appearance at the concert is just a front to hide her disappointment. “He begged Jessica for a second chance, and she gave it to him,” the insider said before adding:
“But five years later, he still can’t seem to control himself when he’s partying. She can’t take much more of this behavior.”
Despite the reports, Timberlake and Biel seem to be doing great and that is all that matters.
