Earlier this week, Miranda Lambert’s husband, Brendan McLoughlin, was seen dancing with another woman. Footage of McLoughlin from inside his wife’s Nashville bar, Casa Rosa, was obtained and shared online, and it’s clear that people have a lot of thoughts about his actions. To say that not all fans were impressed would be an accurate statement. But what really happened between McLoughlin and this mystery woman? Fans are finally getting the answer, at least from her side.
“Earlier in the night, we noticed him in the roped-off section at the front of the bar. We recognized him, and we all thought it was cool that he was there, and mentioned hoping for a Miranda appearance,” the woman told In Touch Weekly this week. “We went back to enjoying our night, drinking and dancing with each other and just having a good time.”

Brendan McLoughlin was hanging out at his wife’s bar, and he was approached by a group of women celebrating a bachelorette party. The woman claimed they had asked him to take a photo with the bride-to-be earlier in the night, and he did. “Somehow, later, we were let into the roped-off section where he was. I’m not sure how that was initiated or happened,” the woman said. “We were all dancing together and laughing and talking, thanking him for helping to make our bride-to-be’s night so special and fun. He was gracious and polite and kind.”
This woman’s comments suggest that fans really got the wrong impression of the dancing video. She also claimed that he was neither “inappropriate” nor “flirty.” She continued, “There was no vibe whatsoever of anything other than friendly, innocent dancing and talking.” OK, but what about the video evidence of her allegedly touching his face? Well, the woman who has chosen to remain anonymous admitted to doing so, but her actions should not be read into.
“I just have a tendency to do that at times without even realizing,” she said of the face-holding. “It’s a silly, unconscious habit that I have, and I am responsible for how that may have appeared to the outside world. I never intended it suggestively, probably more ‘motherly,’ as that’s who I am, but that isn’t something that should reflect badly on him at all.”
Whether Miranda Lambert’s fans, who were furious, accept this explanation remains to be seen.
