The Sakurajima update brought more than strong Ghost of Tsushima vibes to Palworld. It added two dozen new Pals to the game, increasing the already sizable roster. Whether you’re grinding for the perfect set of traits or preparing for an epic raid battle against Blazemut Ryu, Sakurajima has something to offer. From goofy Shroomer to elusive Selyne, these Pals are just what your team needs to be its best. Here’s what you need to know about all the new Sakurajima Pals and the locations where you can find them in Palworld.

Pal-hunting in Sakurajima is mostly common sense. You probably won’t find a fragile floral Pal in the sun-beaten oil fields, after all. Still, it can be hard to know where a given Pal will pop up if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for. Here’s the full list of new Pals in Sakurajima as well as the Palworld locations where you can find them:

  • Bushi Noct – center of Sakurajima, night only (area 1 in the image above)
  • Katress Ignis – Sakurajima dungeons only (throughout Sakurajima)
  • Wixen Noct – Southern Sandbar and Northern Rockfield (areas 2 and 3)
  • Quivern Botan – near the Cherry Blossom Crossroads fast travel point (area 4)
  • Helzephyr Lux – Northern Rockfield (area 2)
  • Menasting Terra – west of the Northern Rockfield fast travel point (area 2)
  • Selyne – appears at random meteor crash sites
  • Croajiro – Sakurajima eastern wetlands region (area 5)
  • Lullu – Sakurajima eastern wetlands region (area 5)
  • Gorirat Terra – near the Southern Sandbar fast travel point (area 3)
  • Chillet Ignis – Sakura Dancing Shrine in the cherry blossom forest (area 1)
  • Shroomer – Sakurajima eastern wetlands region (area 5)
  • Shroomer Noct – Sakurajima eastern wetlands region (area 5)
  • Kikit – Southern Sandbar and Northern Rockfield, night only (areas 2 and 3)
  • Sootseer – Secluded Cemetary trails, night only (area 6)
  • Prixter – Northern Rockfield (area 2)
  • Knocklem – Sakurajima central ravine (area 7)
  • Yakumo – central Sakurajima in the cherry blossom forest (area 1)
  • Dogen – central Sakurajima in the cherry blossom forest (area 1)
  • Dazemu – Southern Sandbar (area 3)
  • Mimog – spawns randomly, pretending to be a treasure chest
  • Xenovader – appears at random meteor crash sites
  • Xenogard – appears at random meteor crash sites on islands other than Sakurajima
  • Blazemut Ryu – summon it by collecting four Blazemut Ryu slabs from the Sakurajima dungeons, combining them at a workbench, and then using the summoning altar

Although you can find most Pals at any time, some of them only spawn a specific times of day or during unusual circumstances such as meteor crash events. Since Selyne only appears during meteor events (and often dies at the hands of the Syndicate after spawning), it’s one of the most difficult Pals to capture. Bring some strong Dragon Pals to make sure the job gets done. You’re up, Jetragon.
