The exes reportedly have a great relationship following their divorce. Not only are they friends, but they also successfully co-parenting their three children, Violet, Fin, and Samuel. Recently, Affleck has been going through a lot of personal drama with his wife, Jennifer Lopez. However, Garner has been there for support, and she’s not planning to back off.
According to sources, Jennifer Garner fully intends to stick by Ben Affleck’s side throughout all of the divorce speculation with JLo. The former spouses have been seen together numerous times over the past few months. Meanwhile, Affleck and Lopez have been seemingly keeping their distance from each other. Insiders claim that Garner refuses to let go of the bond she shares with her ex-husband and wants to help him through the difficult time in his life.

“He’s still the father of her children and she’ll do whatever’s in her power to help him through the difficult transition,” a source told Star, per Music Times. “She’ll always love Ben. That’s a given. Jen has a bit of a savior complex. She’ll sacrifice her own needs to make sure Ben’s OK. She helped him get sober before. She feels it’s her duty to keep him that way.”
In the past, Affleck has struggled with alcohol issues and has even entered rehab to seek treatment. Garner was there for him every step of the way. Now, she’s worried that he could fall off the wagon amid all of the stress he’s under.
“Jen can’t stand by and do nothing. That’s not in her nature. She has dropped everything to ensure Ben doesn’t spiral out of control again,” an insider tells OK! Magazine.
However, Jennifer Garner doesn’t want to rekindle her romantic connection to Ben Affleck. The actress is currently dating John Miller, and is said to be very happy. In addition, she wants her ex to fight for his marriage to Jennifer Lopez, and thinks they could work things out.
Jennifer Garner allegedly just wants to see Ben Affleck happy. Whether that’s with JLo or not. She’s there for him as a friend and as the father of her children. Their connection is obviously strong, and the actor may need her if he and Jennifer Lopez opt to divorce.
