Kate Middleton is turning her lemons into lemonade. 2024 hasn’t been the year for the Princess of Wales, who opened up about her cancer diagnosis in March. However, amid her health battle, Middleton has continued to show up for her country. Last month, the royal stepped out for the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony while nursing herself back to health. According to sources, Middleton’s move to attend such an important royal event makes her more fit for the throne.
Royal insiders revealed that the 42-year-old princess wanted to let the world know she hadn’t given up. Hence, her reason for attending the parade despite not being out of the woods yet. She also wanted to carry the world along on her cancer journey, hoping her story would inspire someone. King Charles, Prince William, and the rest of the senior royals are reportedly proud of Middelton’s decision to push through her cancer.
“Her display of strength proves she’ll make a worthy queen one day. She’s a fighter, for herself, her family and her country.”
According to Life & Style, the Princess of Wales found it challenging to make a public appearance despite her ailing health. “Kate was exhausted afterward,” the insider said of her Trooping the Colour presence. “It was a long day, and it took a lot out of her.” However, that didn’t stop her from showing up.
Kate Middleton’s Return Overshadowed By Meghan Markle
Although June 15 was mostly about Middleton’s return to the spotlight, the Princess couldn’t get all eyes on her thanks to her sister-in-law. Hours before her appearance at the Royal event, Meghan Markle caused quite a ruckus online. The Duchess of Sussex debuted new products from her American Riviera Orchard brand through a friend. Nacho Figueras, a respected polo player, posted photos of a new raspberry-flavored jam and dog biscuits.
Unfortunately, royal fans were greatly displeased by Markle’s move, accusing her of stealing the spotlight from Middleton. “So, Markle’s plan to upstage Catherine’s return was to launch her new jam and dog biscuits,” mocked one fan. Another similar comment read, “All that silly, childish behavior achieved was to highlight just how far she’s fallen. Jam & dog biccies vs. the pomp, pageantry & splendor of Trooping of the Colour.”
