Barron Trump might be the one to further the Trump legacy in politics. The 18-year-old son of Donald Trump attended his father’s campaign rally in Florida on Tuesday. While it is not unusual for political candidates to include their family in their campaign, Barron’s behavior at the event suggests he might want to follow in his father’s footsteps.
Donald addressed the crowd at his Doral golf course in Miami, seeking their support to elect him as President of the United States in November. Barron sat in the front row close to the stage listening to his dad before the spotlight turned on him. A proud Donald introduced his youngest son to the crowd, asking Barron to stand. As seen in a viral video from the rally, the 6-foot-7 teenage rose with so much confidence, giving thumbs up and waving to the excited crowd. They seemed to love him a little more than Donald as heard in their cheers.
In the background, Donald bragged about his son getting into college and called him a “very good guy.” The former president who praised Barron for being “special” noted that it is the teenager’s first time on one of his rallies. At one point, the crowd began chanting Barron’s name, causing him to rise again and wave to the audience. Donald felt the love from the crowd and remarked:
“You’re pretty popular. He might be more popular than Don and Eric.”
Fans Wants A Barron Trump Presidency In The Future
Barron’s presence at his father’s campaign has since left an impression on Internet fans. Many praised the son of Melania and Donald for handling himself so well. “The future of the Republican Party is Barron Trump. Welcome to the fight,” declared one individual. Another similar comment read, “I am so excited to watch this young man grow and enter politics, should he wish to do so (I think he wishes to!)” A third fan praised, “Barron Trump a legend like his Dad,” while a fourth wrote, “Follow in his father’s footsteps but even better because I’m sure he learned from the best but also from the mistakes from the best!”
Others, however, were not pleased about Barron towing his father’s path. “I had hoped that he didn’t want to get tangled up in the family fraud and scandal business,” lamented one disappointed fan. Another fan wrote, “I was hoping he would reject MAGA. But I’m beginning to think he is not.”
