Once Human brings a unique mechanic to the table that allows you to essentially “complete” each map location as if it were a quest for you to take on. Locations, like Citrus County, require you to collect a specified amount of Weapon and Gear Crates, locate and collect a Mystical Crate, and activate a Rift Anchor. Citrus County is only a level 4 area, so it’s not the most difficult, but it’s easy to confuse the crates you need with crates that can simply be looted without giving you any progress toward your end goal.

To find Citrus County, you don’t have to travel too far from where you just jumped into the game and met Mary. From Deadsville, head a bit Northwest, and you’ll be there before you know it.

Weapon Crate Location

Given that Citrus County is such a small area, it’s pretty easy to determine where you can find each Crate, as well as the Rift Anchor. As you enter into Citrus County, you’ll notice that there are only a few houses, one of which has a large hole in the outside wall of the upstairs bedroom. Head inside the house and into the room with the large hole to find the Weapon Crate.

Citrus County Mystical Crate Location

To find the Mystical Crate, you’ll need to head over to the building directly across from the Weapon Crate Location. Starting from the Weapon Crate, look outside through the hole in the house to the building directly ahead of you. Head across the road and up onto the roof of that building. The Mystical Crate can be found in the corner of the roof closest to the house with the hole.

Rather than sticking around the houses within Citrus County, you’ll need to head out to the farm to find the Rift Anchor. The Rift Anchor is located in the central area of the farm near a covered field, and can be activated easily.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things โ€œgeekโ€. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you canโ€™t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
