Adele and Rich Paul have finally taken their relationship to the next level after two years of dating. Despite referring to Paul as her “husband” on numerous occasions and speculations of a secret marriage, sources claim the sports agent only just popped the question.
Paul proposed to the Hello singer last Thursday, The Sun reports. The intimate proposal took place in Adele’s hometown Tottenham, London, and she was reportedly so ecstatic about it that she immediately said “yes.” A source told the publication:
“Rich planned for the proposal to be in her hometown, and gave her an incredible four carat diamond ring. They celebrated with champagne at Chiltern Firehouse the following evening.”
The British native was so over the moon that she allegedly FaceTimed her friends and family to share the good news. The lovebirds plan to have a more elaborate celebration party towards the end of the year, the insider divulged. While neither Adele nor Paul has confirmed their engagement, a recent sighting of them gives validity to the reports. Earlier this week, paparazzi photographed the songstress sporting a giant diamond ring on her engagement finger during a London outing with her man. The huge rock featured a gold design.
Adele Is Ready To Have Kids With Fiancé Rich Paul
It comes as no surprise that Adele and Paul are gearing up to walk down the aisle. They have endured engagement rumors ever since she flashed a ring while courtside with Paul. It also didn’t help that during a November appearance at Alan Carr’s comedy show, she said she was married.
In the months leading up to the engagement, the 36-year-old got candid about starting a family. During one of her Las Vegas shows, she told the crowd she was ready to become a mother again. “Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby,” she said. The 16-time Grammy winner said she wants a girl. “With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?” she quipped. It seems an engagement is the right move in the direction for the lovebirds to expand their family.
