Gypsy Rose Blanchard is flaunting her impressive ink collection just weeks after announcing her pregnancy. Since leaving prison last year, the internet personality has lived life on the edge, doing all the things she didn’t have the chance to do when she was younger. In her recent bucket list act, Gypsy got a set of ink on her body. However, it seems the drawings were a prophecy of her motherhood desires.
On Friday, the Munchausen-by-proxy survivor thrilled her TikTok followers with a tour of her tattoos as well as their meanings. The 33-second clip began with an image of a massive bird tattoo drawn on Gypsy’s back. She revealed that it was inspired by a photo of a Phoenix rising out of the ashes. it seemingly spoke to her life story, overcoming abuse from her mother and surviving prison.
The next tattoo was a spiral drawing on her forearm that featured a musical note at the end and a flower at the top. The inking is a depiction of unalome, a sacred Buddhist symbol that represents enlightenment or a person’s spiritual path. As seen in the diagram she shared, a person’s journey starts with “enlightenment” and ends with “Birth/learned.” Could it be that the inking hinted that Gypsy’s post-prison life would culminate in pregnancy?
For her final tattoo, the 32-year-old showed off a wolf head drawing on her second forearm. Her boyfriend, Ken Urker, got a matching one in the same spot. Gypsy revealed in the caption that the tattoos were done before she got pregnant at her cousin’s tattoo parlor.
