The Bold and the Beautiful Teases Twist in Steffy and Hope Feud

The Bold and the Beautiful has reignited the feud between Steffy Forrester and Hope Logan. For the past 15 years, their rivalry has been a main storyline on the CBS soap opera. Most of their quarrels stemmed from their battling for the affection of Liam Spencer. Although they’ve tried to call a truce, the women always end up back at square one.

Tensions between the ladies mounted again when Hope dated Steffy’s brother Thomas Forrester. After Hope broke Thomas’s heart by rejecting his proposal, Steffy convinced him to leave town for a fresh start. Despite Hope’s attempts to salvage their relationship, Thomas took his sister’s advice and left. Following Thomas’ departure, Hope found support from another man, Steffy’s husband John “Finn” Finnegan.

Hope and Steffy’s Feud Over Finn Turns Explosive on The Bold and the Beautiful

As expected, The Bold and the Beautiful is having the two women fight over a man again. This time it’s Finn who will be caught in the middle of their squabble.

Hope and Finn have become close in recent months. She’s become his confidante regarding his confused feelings about his birth mother Sheila Carter. Meanwhile, Finn’s providing Hope with help with her ongoing migraines. The doctor’s magic hands did wonders for Hope, who’s developed a crush on him.

Steffy knows Hope and Finn have become friends, but she’s unaware of Hope’s fantasies involving Finn. It won’t be long before the secret is revealed, and actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood hints Steffy will be furious. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Wood warned that Hope would feel Steffy’s wrath.

I think that Steffy feels that Hope is attempting to influence Steffy and Finn’s marriage because of Sheila, and Hope’s insane thinking that Sheila and Hope’s father Deacon, have both turned a new leaf. But I don’t think Steffy has any clue that Hope is regularly fantasizing about Finn. When that truth is revealed to Steffy…Hope better be far, far away.

While some of The Bold and the Beautiful fans aren’t interested in the never-ending feud, Wood is excited for what’s to come.

It’s a really good story. Brad [Bell, head writer/executive producer] and the writing team deliver great material for Steffy and Hope’s ongoing feud. I don’t want to give too much away because I hope fans will tune in to see everything that leads up to this and how it plays out.

Hope’s fantasies could become reality soon. She’s already made a pass at Finn, who turned her down. Yet, she’s not going to take “no” for an answer. When Steffy catches Hope and Finn in action, all hell will break loose in this explosive rivalry.
