DDG and his son Halo share a striking resemblance, but not everyone thinks so. On Sunday, the rapper took to X to share another heartfelt moment between him and Halo. DDG posted a selfie that showed him dressed in a black T-shirt and rocking dreads. He lay on a bed, holding little Halo, who donned a white onesie with pizza slice prints. DDG’s son Halo paired his outfit with a red bonnet. DDG seemed in a good mood as he smiled for the camera while his son kept a straight face. The 26-year-old accompanied the adorable photo with a caption, asking how people still questioned his and Halo’s resemblance when it was evident.
“n***as still finna act like my son, not my twin?” DDG wrote.
Not long after, The Shade Room reposted DDG’s post on Instagram, and fans had much to say. Many argued that there was no resemblance between DDG and his son. One fan went as far as calling the rapper delusional for his remarks. “DDG is DD-lusional,” they wrote. Another fan joked about the infant having his father’s laugh rather than his face. “Only thing he got from him is his gender,” a third person commented. Other vocal followers revealed that DDG’s son Halo was the carbon copy of his mother, Halle Bailey, and his aunt, Chloe Bailey.
“Those eyes and the distance between them scream Halle and Chloe,” one person shared.
A second fan added, “Now you know damn well this baby look like Halle.”
DDG Loves Twinning With Halo
DDG’s recent post is not the first time he has referred to Halo as his twin. On July 4, the YouTuber shared two mirror selfies that showed him bonding with the adorable tot. In the photos, DDG posed shirtless with sagging black pants, accessorizing with a necklace with a huge cross pendant.
He posed with Halo over his right shoulder and his phone in the other hand. “Me & my twinn can’t walk outside the crib wit out our chains on!! I need a baby size Richard Mille for my son IMMEDIATELY, jewelers tap in,” he captioned the post. The post sparked a ton of mixed reactions from fans, with many agreeing that baby Halo resembles his dad.
