Great news for PlayStation gamers who have a subscription — or if you don’t have one, this may be the perfect reason to get one. Sony shared the games that are entering the PS Plus catalog for August 2024. That’s right; there is more to play than the approximately 400 titles already in the PS Plus Essential Pack. So stay tuned because you won’t want to miss any of these fantastic adventures about to hit your console.

PS Plus Free Games For The Essential Tier For August 2024

PlayStation Plus will have three new games added to its catalog, which will be available starting August 6. So, don’t forget to claim these titles because they will be gone on September 2:

  • LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga (PS4 & PS5)
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach (PS4 & PS5)
  • Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights (PS4)
This game only has a PS4 version, but it doesn’t mean that PS5 users can’t play it. It’s just that Ender Lilies doesn’t have the settings for the new generation console.

That’s not all, because just before these new August games arrive, PS Plus users still have the opportunity to claim three of last month’s games, but only until August 6. The July games that are still available are:

  • Borderlands 3 (PS4 & PS5)
  • NHL 24 (PS4 & PS5)
  • Among Us (PS4 & PS5)

Thanks to PlayStation Plus, users will have plenty of games to play all summer long. Just remember to check your region’s lineup and make sure that the game you want is available in your store. And wait for the next titles in the following months or for the other tiers. While some months tend to be underwhelming, August is looking pretty good for those in Sony’s subscription service.
