General Hospital character Kristina Corinthos-Davis has always finds herself in the midst of drama. The former pub manager became a surrogate for her sister Molly Lansing-Davis and TJ Ashford when they wanted to have a baby. As her pregnancy progressed, Kristina connected with the unborn baby and reconsidered the surrogacy agreement. In recent weeks, tensions have risen between the Davis girls as Molly fears her sister will keep the baby. It seemed the soap opera was planning a custody battle, but a new twist could mean tragedy.
On the August 1, 2024 episode Kristina confronted Ava Jerome after receiving a subpoena to testify against her father Sonny Corinthos. During their argument, Ava grabbed Kristina, who pulled away. Kristina then stumbled over a duffel bag, and fell out a window into the Metro Court pool as horrified guests looked on.

Given the time and effort put into the storyline, one would assume the writers wouldn’t let the baby die. But if they want to amp up the drama factor, the heartbreaking loss will do it.
Whatever happens to the baby, the fallout from the story isn’t over.
Ava is already the town pariah after leaking Natalia Ramirez’s rant about Kristina and Blaze. She’ll face more backlash for her role in Kristina’s fall. With Sonny and Alexis Davis gunning for her, this could set up Ava’s rumored exit.
Meanwhile, the relationship between the Davis sisters will be strained. Molly’s worry over Kristina will soon turn to anger when she learns the reason for her fall. She’ll blame her sister for putting the baby at risk by confronting Ava. Her actions lead to devastating consequences for everyone.
