Remember the days of MTZ Interceptor meta in Season 1? Well, the new RPK LMG with JAK Cataclysm Kit unlocks the same stage of meta DMR loadouts in Warzone and MW3 Season 5. Unlike the disappointing blunderbuss conversion kit from last week, this time, we’ve got ourselves a meta-killer attachment that allows the RPK LMG to shoot high-caliber rounds. The gun is literally two-shotting the opponents on mid and even long-range, while there’s no bolt action speed bump to be worried about.
How To Unlock JAK Cataclysm RPK Conversion Kit
You can unlock the JAK Cataclysm Conversion Kit by completing 5 out of 21 challenges in MW3 and Warzone Season 5 Week 2. These objectives are mixed in all game modes of MW3 Multiplayer, MWZ, and Warzone. The tasks are easy to complete, and most of the time you finish them without even noticing.
Best RPK JAK Cataclysm Loadout in MW3 and Warzone
- Conversion Kit: JAK Cataclysm
- Underbarrel: Paracord Grip
- Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor L
- Stock: Exo-Tac
- Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip
The JAK Cataclysm conversion kit banns the usage of barrel and underbarrel, but you are well rewarded with a powerful canon and a nice optic that comes with a variable zooming mechanic. So for bullet velocity and damage range, our best shot is with the Sonic Suppressor L muzzle.
On the rest of the page, we’ve got everything in favor of gunkick and recoil control as you don’t want to miss any of your shots for a two-bullet takedown. The Paracord Grip is surely the star of the show featuring amazing recoil control and 0 penalties to deal with. Then there’s the Exo-Tac stock and Demo-X2 Grip to assist with accuracy.
Tips For Using The RPK JAK Cataclysm in MW3 and Warzone
- The ammo type of the RPK changes to Marksman/Sniper from AR/LMG by using this kit.
- Can you rush with the RPK JAK Cataclysm in MW3 or Warzone? Absolutely not. An SMG in your back pocket helps a lot in tight situations.
- You can not two-shot enemies in Warzone unless you hit the upper body.
- No, this gun is not a one-shot headshot rifle in Warzone. That title belongs to the Kar98k which also has the best damage range and bullet velocity.
- The Sleight of Hand perk in Warzone and Mag Holster in MW3 are the perfect match for the clunky reload animation of the RPK.
After the M16 conversion kit that brought back the classic AR to its glory, the JAK Cataclysm is probably the best out there. The fire rate isn’t great, and you feel like carrying two of your teammates on your back while using it for the mobility side of things. However, the power is worth it.
RPK has never felt any better after it was left to dust with giga nerfs two years ago. Land two shots on your opponent’s upper body and they’re going right back to the lobby in Warzone. Things are even better in MW3, as you can hold a line forever by one-shotting every single target.
So if you’re a Kar98k or DMR lover, the RPK JAK Cataclysm makes it worth a while in MW3 and Warzone. Before they nerf the thing, it’s best if you use and have fun with it at least for a few weeks.
