It’s that time of the week, where we anticipate what the minds of Vince Gilligan and company have concocted for the upcoming episode of Better Call Saul Coming off arguably the best episode of the season, what will be the fallout from the conclusion of Jimmy’s hearing in “Off Brand”?

Despite everything that happened in the last episode, there still hasn’t been a verdict in the trial, so even after Jimmy’s performance, it’s possible he could still be guilty. But what other ramifications could the trial hold in store?

It was made apparent just how important Chuck’s reputation was to him by his reaction to the Mesa Verde incident, so his outburst, while not in front of a client his peers, could either lead to his quitting out of embarrassment or doubling down on blaming his brother (we all know which one it’ll be).

Next time on Better Call Saul showing Hamlin seemingly give Chuck an ultimatum stating, “We’re at a crossroads” and “Jimmy’s just not worth it.” It’s entirely likely that Chuck’s position at the firm is at risk if he continues to pursue bringing his brother to justice.

After a full episode of Jimmy’s plot line, the side stories return too, as the preview shows different scenes with Hector Salamanca, Gus, Nacho, Victor, and Tyrus. While there are no scenes with the man stuck in the middle of the Salamanca and Fring war, Mike will be sure to pop up in this episode.

Most importantly, it would seem “Off Brand” is going to water the seeds that have been growing ever since the show’s announcement, the beginning of Saul Goodman. Next time on Better Call Saul ends with Kim quizzically reading off the name Saul Goodman.

Is Rebecca telling Jimmy or Chuck to make it right?

Why does Kim know about that name? Does the trial’s outcome actually affect Jimmy McGill’s name and credibility as a lawyer? Time will tell, but it is unsettling to hear Kim say that name knowing what it means for her future – or lack thereof – with Jimmy.

We’ll have to wait until Monday to know, but be sure to check back to the site for our official review of Better Call Saul’s fourth episode of the season, which will go up Monday immediately following “Off Brand” at 10 pm EST.
