Mama June‘s daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird is already off the market just one week after filing for divorce. The reality star called it quits with her husband of six years, Josh Efird, and has now found a new man to help her through the difficult phase.
Lauryn is reportedly in a relationship with a man named Darrin. It is unsure when the budding romance began. However, sources told TMZ that Pumpkin and Josh were separated for about three months before filing for divorce. The exes seem to have moved on from each other, with Josh also having a girlfriend of his own. Her name is Keely. Although they are in the middle of a divorce, the former lovers are allegedly transparent about their new partners. They know about their respective significant others but have no plans to go on a double date yet. Instead, Pumpkin and Josh want to maintain a friendly relationship with one another for the sake of their four children.
It is expected that Pumpkin and Josh’s divorce will be documented in the new season of Mama June: From Not to Hot. However, it is unsure if their new partners will be featured on the screen.
Mama June’s Daughter’s Marriage Was ‘Irretrievably Broken’
Pumpkin pulled the plug on her marriage on August 2, filing for divorce in Wilkinson County, Georgia. She cited their union as “irretrievably broken” and said going their separate ways was the best option for their children. According to the divorce terms, neither party will receive spousal support.
Pumpkin and Josh want joint physical and legal custody of their kids. They will divide the children’s medical expenses and extracurricular and school activities. The settlement agreement also included a parenting plan to help them co-parent effectively and spend time with the kids individually. As for the division of their leased property, Josh was given 60 days to remove his belongings. The family’s Georgia home will have only Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’s name on the lease.
