Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman are very close friends. However, the long-time Wolverine actor is now reportedly leaning on her for some advice. Jackman has recently separated from his wife of 30 years, and now it seems like he is getting dating advice from Swift. Of course, Taylor wouldn’t be a bad choice for said advice as her relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce has been going as smoothly as possible.
According to Life and Style Magazine, if Hugh Jackman does eventually start seeing someone new it would be “hard to imagine a woman not feeling threatened” by how close the actor is with Taylor Swift. Especially after everything they have been through together.
Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackson Have a Very Special Friendship
“Taylor has been close to Hugh for a long time. They first got to know each other more than a decade ago when she was up for a role in Les Misérables,” the source says, recalling how the “Anti-Hero” singer, 34, auditioned for the roles of Cosette and Éponine in the 2012 movie musical starring Hugh, 55. “She didn’t end up getting cast, but he was a huge support to her through the process and mentored her,” the insider adds, “so they built a real bond that lasted.”
Hugh and Swift are even seen hanging out in public sometimes. The two were seen last year together at a Kansas City Chiefs game. Swift was at almost every game last year to support Travis Kelce. That includes his impressive Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers.
If Hugh Jackman were to start dating again, it would most likely have to be somebody who is okay with his close relationship with the pop star. Taylor Swift has been an important friend to Hugh, and that would most likely be hard to give up. Although that issue seems like it may be way down the road.
