The chances you’ll see a Unique item, let alone one that you can use, is small—not impossible, but unlikely. That’s where getting Resplendent Sparks and knowing how to get them comes into play in Diablo 4. If your luck has been down in the dumps lately, you could gather enough Resplendent Sparks to craft your own Unique item. That’s not a bad trade, right? The only problem is they’re rare.
Best Way to Farm Resplendent Sparks in Diablo 4: Season 5
The good news is, you can get quite a few Resplendent Sparks right off the bat. Not enough to craft a Unique item, but most of one. Other than the season reputation board, the content you’ll be dealing with is endgame, so make sure you have your paragon board filled and your build locked in.
To get three Resplendent Sparks fairly quickly, you should:
- Complete the Season 5 reputation board (which we’ll get into)
- First time you defeat a Tormented Uber Boss
- First time you defeat Uber Lilith
I know that’s a tall order, but these three sources are guaranteed Resplendent Sparks, leaving you just one Resplendent Spark short of crafting your own Unique item. You always want to do it in that order as well.
Being in the endgame, you should have the reputation board all filled out for Season 5, if not darn close. Collect the Greater Triune Arms Cache from the reputation board and the Resplendent Spark is yours. It’s in Zarbinzet, near the smith!
In the case of the Uber bosses, Lilith included, it’s best to take on the one you’ll have the easiest time with. Duriel, for example, is easier for ranged classes while Andariel is easier for melee classes. Lilith is a requirement though; you have no choice!
Either way, you’ll be making regular visits to Uber bosses, anyway. As you’re hacking away at them, their deaths are also a source for Unique items. While unique items are still rare, you can reasonably look forward to getting one. The best way to farm Resplendent Sparks in Diablo 4? Get really good at defeating Uber bosses!
