This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information.

After a well deserved two week hiatus, Jimmy, and the Gang – though I guess he’s more Saul than Jimmy now – return this week in the eighth episode of the third season of Better Call Saul titled “Slip.”

While many of this season’s titles have been simple summaries of the episodes or words that have a large impact on it, Slip is an interesting title. We’ve known that Naco has had it out for his boss Hector Salamanca for a couple episodes now, so maybe he has a slip and a fall that results in his Breaking Bad condition instead of the nitroglycerin pill.

The title could be something as simple as a notification slip for one of our characters as well, or knowing Jimmy, could be a slip of the tongue or a mistake on one of their parts. The preview for the either episode indicates that at least one aspect of it likely involves Jimmy “Slipping” to get out of community service, though he is also seen in pain wearing his Saul Goodman outfit.

The repercussions of Jimmy’s actions last episode of the bar insurance agency will likely take effect as well, since we see Howard telling Chuck “There is something we need to discuss” and a later shot of Chuck a woman – possibly the same one Jimmy talked to at the agency -“What have I done.”

We can also see Nacho crushing pills together, meaning he may implement his plan this episode as well. Even with all the implications of possible death with Ignacio and Hector, the most worrying part of the preview is Jimmy’s nonchalant questioning to Kim saying “You believe me right?”

Context is missing from the situation, though Jimmy is relaxing on the ground strumming a bass guitar, his tone seems like he could be lying to Kim about the situation with Chuck.

I don’t know about you but I am certainly excited to see Better Call Saul back on the air, with just three episodes left before the season ends. Be sure to check back to the site for our official review of Better Call Saul’s eighth episode of the season, which will go up immediately following “Slip” at 10 pm EST
