The Choir of One is a Special Ammo Void Auto Rifle capable of destruction on a mass scale in Destiny 2. To make it even deadlier, it’s relatively easy to obtain, albeit a bit time consuming, and craftable to boot. The crafting process itself is straightforward, but the steps needed to get to the point where you can obtain it is a story investment, as you’ll need to complete a tricky and puzzling Exotic Mission first. We will break down how to obtain this deadly armament and add it to your arsenal.

To begin with, you can only earn this weapon by complete the Encore Exotic mission. However, it’s not as straightforward as running a mission and earning it. To even do this mission, you need to have a checklist of other things completed and done first.

  • Purchase the Episode Echoes pack.
  • Complete the Rising Chorus: Act I.
  • Complete the Rising Chorus: Act II

Once you have all of those steps done first, you can then begin A Rising Chorus: Act III. After heading to H.E.L.M. and speaking to FAILSAFE, you will unlock the Encore Exotic mission. Now, you can just skip to the mission itself, but if you haven’t completed all the story beats from the previous acts, you will be locked out of using this weapon.

Once you unlock the weapon, you can then dismantle the pattern and then it will be unlocked for crafting. Here is what you can expect out of this beast of a weapon.

  • Fanatical Lance – Hip firing launches 5 slow moving projectiles that explode on impact.

This weapon is easily one of the best Auto rifles in the entire sandbox, and a potential Dungeon and Raid boss clearing monster when used properly. Here is a video of us clearing the mission and earning this weapon.

She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
