The Zero Hour Exotic mission is finally back in Destiny 2, meaning Outbreak Perfected is craftable once again, and we can get our hands on its God Rolls. The crafting process itself is quite simple, but the steps needed to get to the point where you can craft Outbreak Perfected can take a bit of work, as you’ll need to complete the Zero Hour Exotic mission a few times first. However, once you’ve made it that far, you’ll have everything you need to get those awesome God Rolls to maximize your damage output. Let’s take a look at how to craft Outbreak Perfected and what the God Rolls are for it in Destiny 2.
How To Craft Outbreak Perfected in Destiny 2
If you spent any time trying to craft Whisper of the Worm, then you probably already know how this process will go. To craft Outbreak Perfected, you’ll need to spend quite a bit of time in the Zero Hour Exotic mission. Each time you run through the mission, you’ll receive different upgrades for the crafting process after receiving the red border version of Outbreak Perfected upon your first completion. After you’ve got everything you need together, you’ll be able to take your new pattern to the Enclave on Mars and craft your own version.
Outbreak Perfected Catalyst
If you already had the Catalyst for Outbreak Perfected previously, then there’s a good chance you’ll be able to use it right away. If you haven’t gotten the Catalyst yet, you can get it by completing the Zero Hour Exotic Mission on Heroic difficulty within 20 minutes rather than 40.
The Outbreak Perfected Catalyst gives the weapon enhanced capabilities, like increased stats and additional perks. To be a bit more specific, the Catalyst for Outbreak Perfected increases nanite damage. Enemies that die with nanites attached to them generate additional nanites.

Given that Outbreak Perfected is one of Destiny 2‘s lightweight pulse rifles, the Fluted Barrel, Accurized Rounds, and Composite Stock come in handy for some decent range and stability. Additionally, Rewind Rounds can do some good for Outbreak as well. With Rewind Rounds, if you’re hitting shots pretty regularly, you’ll have to reload much less since the pulse rifle will reload itself for the most part, and the nanites will increase exponentially, especially if you have Outbreak Perfected’s Catalyst equipped as well.

Everyone knows that when you’re heading into a PvP match, you need to have some serious range. Because of that, we chose Hammer-Forged Rifling and Accurized Round, which both add an additional 10 range to the already decent range of Outbreak Perfected, bumping that value up into the 80s. In addition to those, the Headseeker trait can do quite a bit to ensure that you’re dealing as much damage as possible, even if you’re only hitting body shots.
