Travis Kelce has expanded his brand to many things since he began dating Taylor Swift last year. Kelce has gotten his own game show, a new podcast deal, and even a role in Happy Gilmore 2. However, Travis recently just dipped his toes into yet another business. The three-time Super Bowl champion is venturing into the world of horse racing. Of course, this will also involve Swift and possibly her bank account.
According to The Mirror, on Tuesday, it was announced that Travis Kelce has partnered with the Zoldan family. The two sides purchased a significant share of a three-year-old gelding named “Swift Delivery.” However, it is unknown if Kelce named the horse. This horse “has the potential to do big things,” says its trainer, Mark Casse, to ESPN.
Travis Kelce Is Expanding His Brand Thanks to Taylor Swift
“He’s a horse that we always thought a lot of, and he just didn’t perform — and now he’s performing,” Casse said. “This horse is good. He’s good right now, and he has the potential to go on and do big things.”
Kelce is not the first athlete to get into horse racing. Former MLB player and World Series champion Jayson Werth has a stake in a horse that won the Belmont Stakes this year. It seems to be a booming business for the wealthy.
Swift has been helping Travis Kelce get into many other businesses outside of the NFL. Kelce seems to really be feeling the Taylor Swift effect lately. Although, with the NFL season upon us, the star athlete will have to refocus on football. Swift will most likely make it to most of Kelce’s games this year to cheer him on.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce seem to thrive together. The couple has been dating for around a year now, and rumors of a possible engagement have been swirling for months. However, both of them have plenty of work to do. As of right now, there are no official wedding talks. Growing their careers seems to be a top priority for the pop star and the tight end.
