This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Hailey is finally here in The First Descendant and naturally, you’ll want her. She’s the newest character in the game and investing your Catalysts and Activators on her isn’t wasted since Ultimate Hailey won’t be added to the game for a while. Getting Hailey is a bit of a painstaking process outside of spending real money, so it’s best we get to it. Here’s how to get Hailey in The First Descendant quickly and easily. Well, it’s relatively fast and easy.

Try Your Luck in Invasions

That’s to be expected. Farming for Hailey in The First Descendant involves running Invasion Dungeons over and over again and getting lucky with the drops. But before you get Hailey, you need to unlock the Invasions first via a quest.

Here are the specific requirements and the step-by-step process before you can reliably farm Hailey:

  1. Finish the main storyline.
  2. Unlock Hard mode by defeating The Hanged Man.
  3. Finish the “How to Hide the Truth” mission to unlock Invasions.
  4. Farm Invasions to get parts for crafting Hailey.

Luckily, all Invasions drop the important Hailey components, even the Hailey Data Chips. You’ll need dozens of them so running Invasions again and again is recommended. There are three kinds of Invasions.

  • Legion of Darkness – Tile color matching puzzle.
  • Order of Truth – Drone symbol matching puzzle.
  • Legion of Immortality – Artificial Brain collection.

Thus, for ease, I recommend the Legion of Darkness and the Legion of Immortality puzzles. The Legion of Darkness is better, especially if you have either Gley, Bunny, or Valby as they can trivialize the run and finish it under a couple of minutes.

However, you don’t always get to pick Invasion types, and you might have to settle for what’s available on the map.
