Penuiltiument episodes of television shows are generally always the best episode of the season, especially in AMC’s case, and with a title like “Fall”, the anticipation for this episode of Better Call Saul has reached a fever pitch.

Last episode we saw Jimmy further transition into his Saul Goodman character after being screwed over and pushed around by customers and overseers alike. This episode could be the final step in his fall from grace and his rise to criminal lawyer fame.

This thought is only further reinforced after seeing Jimmy sporting an out of character track suit in the preview for Next Time on Better Call Saul. Jimmy can be seen shooting pool as well, a well-known hustler sport.

The focus of the preview seems to extend further than Jimmy though, as Chuck seems to be back to work without any limitations or issues and Mike can be seen discussing things with Gus or someone associated with him in regards to their discussion that ended the last episode.

More importantly is the ongoing arch of Nacho attempting to poison Hector Salamanca. Alongside a worried and nervous Nacho sitting at a dim lit table praying, the preview displays a scene in which Salamanca seems angry, a situation in which he would likely elevate his blood pressure and need his pills.

One of the few people not highlighted in the preview is Kim – aside from being told to stop and smell the roses – who took on a large workload in her final scene in “Slip.” In the television synopsis for “Fall”, it stated that “Kim faces challenges at work” so it should be interesting if her strained workload, combined with Jimmy’s rising unethical practices, are what result in a falling out between the two partners.

The ninth episode of Beter Call Saul has the opportunity to be one of the best episodes not only of the season but in the series. Be sure to check back to the site for our official review of AMC’s Better Call Saul’s ninth episode of the season, which will go up immediately following “Fall” at 10 pm EST
