Dave Grohl, singer and guitarist of Foo Fighters, made a shocking reveal on Tuesday morning, and fans are pretty upset with it. Not only are they upset that he stepped out of his 20+ year marriage, but also that he wasted a perfect opportunity to open his big reveal with the first line in his song, “Best of You.”
Dave‘s done a good job of upsetting a massive portion of his fans this week, and they’re being quite vocal about it on X/Twitter. Not only have fans felt betrayed by him, they’re outright slamming him for the massive screw-up.
Dave Grohl Has a Child Outside of His Marriage
Dave Grohl’s been married to his wife for over 20 years, and now, after all this time, he made a big mistake and got another woman pregnant.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” he writes in an Instagram post. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as wee move forward together.”
While it’s got to be absolutely devastating to his wife and children, Dave Grohl’s fans are losing their trust in him as well, one posting on X/Twitter, “You can’t even trust bloody Dave Grohl I give up.”
Another comments, “I’m a man and I feel just as devastated.”
One more upset X user comments, “Right?! Grew up feeling he was the shining light of rock, the guy that could do no wrong, had so much good will towards others, uses his close friends passing as fire to make himself the best. And still a cheater lol.”
“‘I love my wife and children’…but that slipped my mind and I somehow managed to make another child with a different woman by accident but I am sorry and hope my wife and children will forgive me” says another furious fan, picking apart the strangely worded announcement from Grohl.
