Princess Eugenie Trying to End Royal Family Feud: ‘She Hates All This Tension’

Like many people, Princess Eugenie is accustomed to family drama. However, the Royal Family’s turmoil is often displayed for the public to see. In recent years, there have been ongoing tensions within The Firm. There’s Prince Harry’s estrangement from his brother Prince William and his father Prince Charles. Then there’s Charles’ ongoing battle with his younger brother, and Eugenie’s dad, Prince Andrew. The ongoing fighting has caused the princess much distress as she tries to maintain the peace.

According to In Touch Weekly, a source says that Eugenie is making it her mission to try to end the royal feud. “Eugenie is a kind and peaceful soul, she hates all this tension and goes out of her way to play up the positives wherever possible,” the insider reveals.

While Harry and his wife Meghan Markle may have burned bridges by revealing royal secrets, Eugenie is going to bat for them. The princess often focuses on the positive memories of the couple when discussing them with others.

That includes delicately reminding people at the top of the Firm how hard Harry and Meghan work for charity, bringing up antecdotes and photos from the good times pre-Megxit, and sticking up for her dad any chance she gets, too.

Princess Eugenie’s Efforts to End Royal Family Feud Are Futile

Earlier this year, the announcement of Charles’ cancer diagnosis seemed to ease tension between father and son. After learning of his father’s diagnosis, Harry flew to London to visit Charles. While Charles might be leaning towards forgiving his son, other members won’t be. William, Kate Middleton, and Queen Camilla still hold a grudge over Harry’s exit.

While Princess Eugenie continues efforts to end the feud, the trio isn’t ready to forgive and forget.

The likes of Kate, William, and Camilla appreciate that [Eugenie] has a big heart and they’re by no means shooting her down or telling her to stop associating with the Sussexes if that’s what she wants to do.

With William and Kate set to become the future king and queen one day, they’re determined to protect the image of the monarchy. Which is why they’re careful who they associate with.

But they’re not being swayed by Eugenie, Beatrice or anyone else when it comes to the Sussexes or Andrew.

Eugenie’s father, Prince Andrew, has been on the outs with the Royal Family because of his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. After Andrew was revealed as one of Epstein’s clients in the sex scandal, the disgraced prince resigned from his royal duties in May 2020.

The controversy with Andrew along with Harry and Meghan’s behavior has hurt the image of the royals. As the source says, “there’s just too much mud under the bridge.”

It looks like the Royal Family feud isn’t coming to an end anytime soon. While it’s hard on Princess Eugenie, chances are she’s not giving up.
