Jennifer Lopez only filed for divorce from Ben Affleck last month. However, she may be ready for some new romance. The singer has signed on to star in the film Office Romance with Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein, and life could imitate art if the actor has anything to say about it. The actor has expressed the fact that he has a crush on JLo in the past. Now, he’ll be working closely with the newly single singer and anything could happen.
According to Page Six, Brett Goldstein has often referenced his love for Jennifer Lopez on his podcast. The actor even gushed over the Hustlers star when she turned 50 back in 2018. ““F–king hell. 50! She’s 50. I love her,” Goldstein exclaimed at the time. He went on to reveal that he’d love to cuddle Lopez and even expressed jealousy over her co-stars.
“I believe he’s mentioned more than once (on his podcast) that he thinks she’s the most beautiful woman in the world. He must be ecstatic!” one fan pointed out on Twitter.
“Brett adores Jennifer Lopez so I’m happy he’s getting to act with his crush,” another stated.
“He is fine!!! Go have some fun you two and ignore the haters!! Lol!” a third comment read.
“It’s basically a race to see who can find a new love interest first. It will probably be JLo. I don’t think Ben cares as much,” said another.
Meanwhile, Office Romance will debut on Netflix, per The Hollywood Reporter. It will mark the next romantic endeavor for Goldstein, who previously starred in All of You. Of course, Lopez has been in her fair share of romantic films. She’s had hits with films like The Wedding Planner, Monster-In-Law, and more.
