He acts like a ninja cloaked in darkness, and his best ability is to remain hidden even in plain sight. As this ninja is so deadly, he is the last thing his enemies and even his allies see. The same happens in combats as Moze doesn’t even appear on the timeline, but this is a double-edged sword against specific enemies in Honkai Star Rail, where you can suffer a game crash.
Redditor Lars_Alexander shared how they experienced this bug when fighting the boss Memory Zone Meme “Something Unto Death.” This particular enemy has the ability to “capture” or “kill” your team members, removing them entirely from the timeline, even if they still have HP left. As Moze has the talent to hide, he also does not appear on the timeline, so against this boss, the Honkai Star Rail system deduces that there is no other character and creates the soft-lock. With this bug, the game freezes in a certain way because the animations and the music continue, but you can’t pause or exit the combat.
So far, the easiest way to “solve” this bug is to close the app on your mobile or tablet, use ALT+F4 for PC, and if you have a console, you should also close the game completely. Then, you will have to start the fight again. Don’t forget to change Moze for another character because he is so overpowered, as you can see, that he can even kill all Honkai Star Rail processes. Hopefully, HoYoverse will fix this bug soon. In the meantime, you should choose this ninja’s battles; other bosses like Sunday or Phantylia won’t have this same problem, as they don’t remove characters from the fight.
