Knock, knock. Who’s there? Your missing dog, of course! No, we haven’t heard that one before either, but it appears to be the case for one lucky Reddit user.
Earlier today, Redditor uncle_russell_90 shared a 25-second snippet of footage showing their canine returning home during nighttime after having allegedly been missing for 22 hours. In the video, the hound waits patiently and stares up at the door cam for a few moments before nonchalantly standing up on its hind legs and ringing the doorbell with its paws.
The doggo in question — which appears to be an American Pit Bull Terrier — proceeds to then sit down and wait patiently for its owner to open the door. Yes, our hearts melted while watching the cute video, too.
Accompanying the post was the caption: “Dog goes missing day before to show up 22 hours later at 4am.”
Of course, shortly after, the social media platform exploded with hundreds of light-hearted comments from other Redditors. The OP, who procured over a 1,700 Likes, amusingly declared:
