The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is officially returning to Hulu for a second season. The reality show, which follows several Mormon wives who are TikTok influencers, was a smash hit on the streaming platform. Its featured cast members, including Taylor Frankie Paul and Whitney Leavitt, delivered so much relationship and friendship drama that it was hard to look away. In fact, the show became the streaming giant’s No. 1 unscripted premiere of 2024.
Consequently, Hulu greenlit the series for a second season. According to TMZ, sources close to production report that everybody (yes, everybody) will return for round two of the series. Pre-production has already begun, and the cast is set to appear in front of the cameras within the week.
So, how are fans reacting to the good news? “Oh, yay!” one fan wrote. “This show was juicy.” Another watcher posted, “YASSSS! [It’s] about time.”
What Will Fans See During Season 2 of Mormon Wives?
If it wasn’t clear, Season 1 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was off the charts. However, the way the first set of episodes ended left viewers with many questions. Specifically, people want to know where Whitney stands with the rest of the group.
The TikTok-turned-reality star was certainly the center of controversy. Her beef with Taylor began the season, but later, she found herself on the outs with everyone, including her bestie, Mayci.
Watchers weren’t too fond of her either. “Just started watching The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” one user wrote, “and wow. I’ve never seen [a] victim mentality like I’ve seen with this Whitney. She’s exhausting.”
But Whitney isn’t the only cast member who evoked a strong reaction from the audience. Many are curious to see what’s in store for Taylor and Dakota, whom she had a baby with, now that the pair have broken up. Additionally, Jen Affleck’s marriage with her husband, Zac, caused much commotion, leading her co-star, Jessi, to speak out.
Season 1 touched on so much more, and now that a second season is underway, fans are one step closer to getting the closure they’ve been seeking.
