Kristin Cavallari is getting mocked despite making the very brave step of sharing her recent breakup details on Instagram. The reality star, 37, made headlines last weekend for ending her seven-month relationship with ex-boyfriend Mark Estes, who is 13 years her junior.
Sharing footage from her candid breakup reveal on social media five days ago, Kristin explained why she’d made the decision to end her romance with Mark, reposting recorded moments from her Let’s Get Honest podcast. While many fans proved supportive, some only seemed out to torment her. When one fan saw the footage showing Kristin discussing her now-ended relationship in a tight ribbed tank, they told her she was “embarrassing” herself.

Looking comfy as she chatted away from an indoor space, Kristin highlighted her fit figure in a skintight, sleeveless top and acid-wash jeans with a white drawstring.
Wearing over-ear headphones, the reality star said: “It’s hard because I broke up with Mark because I just know, long term, it’s not right,” also stating that Mark “didn’t do anything. Mark has been nothing but so sweet and so supportive and he’s always been there.” Confirming there was no cheating, the blonde continued:
“I just know, long term, he needs to experience life. He’s young and I started to feel the age a little bit just with life experience. Those are crucial years, those are formative years. This is when you find yourself. He needs to be able to do that.”
Clearly in tears, Kristin noted that 24-year-old Mark would “one day” have a “beautiful family of his own,” adding eventually, the former footballer would likely “thank” her.
Gaining the most likes was fellow reality star Melissa Gorga, who said: “Mature decision. Probably not the easiest one.”
Others, however, challenged Kristin. Asking why she even started the relationship in the first place, one fan gained over 100 likes for saying: “Why did you introduce him to your children and bring him into your family just to break his heart?”
Another merely wrote that Cavallari was “embarrassing” herself. The comment gained 395 likes. Kristin went public with Mark in February, making her romance official on Instagram. The Laguna Beach alum, who shares her three children with ex-husband Jay Cutler, was initially bullied by her own followers regarding the age gap, but fans eventually came around.
Unfortunately, though, it looks like Kristin has yet to find true love. In her podcast reveal, she revealed having “no interest” in getting back into the dating game for the time being.
