Teen Mom cast member Jenelle Evans has a few issues to settle with her current boyfriend and manager, August Keen. It looks like history is destined to repeat itself, but this time, it seems that Jenelle is not the victim.
August Keen was forced to call 911 in August following an alleged drunken altercation with the Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans. A frightened Keen called out for help, stating that an intoxicated Jenelle had been ‘hitting’ him all evening after she ‘got super drunk.’
For longtime Teen Mom fans, this type of drama is nothing new when it comes to Jenelle Evans. However, according to the Daily Mail, reports typically show that Jenelle is calling the police on her boyfriends or spouse.
However, this story has a familiar ring to it. The Ashley Roundup was the first to report on the physical altercation. In the 911 tape obtained by the website, August Keen is heard telling the 911 operator, “My girlfriend got super drunk tonight, and she’s been hitting me all night. I’d like to be protected to make sure that I grab my stuff. I just want to get outta the house safe.”
Jenelle Evans is reportedly heard in the background during the call. The operator advises August Keen to try and walk away from the reality television personality. However, Keen claims that Jenelle is drunk and keeps following him.
August Keen Pulls A Jenelle Evans Following Alleged Attack
While remaining on the line with 911, August Keen tells the operator that Jenelle Evans allegedly drank 12 drinks while he had only two or three. He also revealed that Jenelle does drugs. “She takes pills… she smokes a lot of weed, and she drinks a lot,” he claimed.
August also claims that after he left the house, Jenelle followed him, chasing him down the street. However, August declined to press charges when the authorities arrived at the home.
So here is where the Jenelle flashbacks take place. Following the alleged attack, August Keen took to Instagram to explain a few misconceptions and mistakes that were made during the evening in question. What he says sounds very past Jenelle-like.
“Oh, Here We Go Again!” writes one fan.
“Same old story, except now Jenelle has taken on the role of her previous partners, and August is the one controlled and told what to say to make it all go away,” adds another.
“More lies; Jenelle never changes,” says a third.
In a total backtrack, August Keem states Jenelle never hit him. He also reportedly cleared up the misconceptions about Jenelle’s drug use, saying the Teen Mom star is not on drugs. Keen also clarifies that “everyone knows I dislike weed unless it is for medicinal purposes) and that’s what I was referring to.”
He continued with his lengthy explanation post, alleging the entire incident was a big misunderstanding. Does any of this sound familiar?
