Today at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, J.J. Abrams showed off a brand new teaser for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. The trailer released online shortly after being shown to those in attendance of Star Wars Celebration. It runs at 2 minutes long and shows off all brand new footage of the film:

The trailer heavily shows off the new cast including teasing the new villain named Kylo Ren (possibly played by Adam Driver). Fans can see from the trailer the movie definitely is going to rely on a good mixture of practical and CGI effects.

Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford return with a new cast of characters.  The new cast of characters are played by Oscar Issac, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is set to release on December 15 this year in regular 2-D, 3-D, and IMAX 3-D formats.

Are you excited for the new Star Wars movie?
