Shanna Moakler is a gorgeous woman, and good genes run in the family because she recently posed for a picture with her eldest daughter, Atiana De La Hoya (whose father is former professional boxer Oscar De La Hoya). Atiana was born on 29 March 1999, making her 25 years old. She is stunning but also looks a lot like her mama, so much so that fans are blown away by their similarities.
Moakler posted the photo of herself and her eldest child as an appreciation post. “Time is going so fast all my kiddos are grown up…. so proud of this beautiful young woman! Love you @atianadelahoya,” she wrote in the caption. Her fans have been eager to share their thoughts, with comments including, “She looks like the brunette version of you!!“ and “Gorgeous! If I didn’t know I’d think you were sisters!” Fans have remarked on the similarities between Atiana and her mother and commented on how all of Moakler’s children are “beautiful.”
The model also has two kids, Landon and Alabama Barker, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Travis Barker.
Shanna Moakler’s Fans Think She’s a Great Mom
Some fans have also commented on how Moakler is a great mother. “Shanna genes are so strong! You are a truly loving mother, your children are lucky to have you,” a comment reads. “Glowing together, that’s true friendship shining through!” another shared. This is an interesting comment because Moakler has previously been criticized for her parenting, including claims she was uninvolved in her children’s lives (although the attention has been primarily focused on her two younger kids).
Landon had previously posted an incredibly harsh statement on social media in response to a commenter. “Actually, if you weren’t such a dumb a**, you would realize our mom has never been in our lives and isn’t there for us like our dad is,” he wrote, per People. Yikes!
The allegations of Moakler’s parenting have been so upsetting to the star that she even made a statement to People in 2021 to refute them. “The claims of being absent from my children’s lives are false and incredibly hurtful. Co-parenting is hard, but I have always and will continue to prioritize my children’s happiness and well-being,” she said. “I refuse to involve them in a vindictive parenting competition where feelings are bound to get hurt. Encouraging relationships with both parents is a duty on both mother and father.”
She further claimed that her children’s fame ultimately impacted their views, and she was hopeful that one day they would be able to see through this and “realize their mother loves and will always be there for them.”
Only time will tell what the true relationship between mother and children is, and if they are able to find their way back to each other!
