Days after announcing his dating hiatus, Liam Neeson professes his love for actress Pamela Anderson who starred alongside him on The Naked Gun. Earlier this week, the actor opened up about his love life in an interview, disclosing his decision to steer clear of the dating pool. When questioned about his dating life and if he was seeing anyone, the actor replied in the negative, adding that he was past all that. His curt response gave the impression the 72-year-old had bid farewell to the dating world.
However, the actor may have just given the impression he still had dating in the cards with his latest admission. In an interview with People, Liam Neeson admitted to his love for his The Naked Gun costar Pamela Anderson just days after his dating announcement. He also praised her professional capabilities, funny personality, and easygoing nature. Liam divulged,
“With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with. I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.”

The actors spent a good part of the year working together on the set of the upcoming reboot of the Leslie Nielson cop comedy, The Naked Gun. The movie stars Pamela Anderson as a “femme fatale,” alongside Liam Neeson, who plays the son of Leslie’s character Frank Drebin. Their time on set enabled Liam to admire Pamela’s beautiful attributes. Interestingly, the 57-year-old actress reciprocates his admiration, telling the news outlet that she deemed him “humble,” and “the perfect gentleman.” Praising further, she noted,
“He brings out the best in you… with respect, kindness and depth of experience, It was an absolute honor to work with him.”
She also reminisced on their time on set, admitting she could barely keep a straight face in their joint scenes. Additionally, Liam Neeson, who recently shared his aversion to dating again, acted as the perfect knight in shiny armor towards Pamela on set. She recalled how he looked after her and even offered up his coat affectionately when she caught the chills. In turn, she made him bread and cookies, which she kept readily available in his dressing room.
Despite their mutual admiration for each other, a relationship between them is unlikely. The Taken actor’s last known relationship was with public relations executive Freya St. Johnston whom he began dating in 2010 and ended in 2012. Before that, he tied the knot with actress Natasha Richardson in 1994. They remained a couple until she died in 2009. Meanwhile, Pamela Anderson has been married five times and had a handful of relationships through the years. Given his most recent take on dating, it is unlikely Liam Neeson’s feelings for his The Naked Gun costar are anything but platonic.
