Jennifer Lopez received very mixed reviews as fans on Instagram and beyond reacted to her latest look. The singer, 55, put on a leggy display at last night’s 2024 AFI Fest in Hollywood, CA, keeping summery in a pink miniskirt and jacket combo while upping the ante in platform heels.
Showing off her fit figure on the red carpet, JLo wowed just two months after filing for divorce from Ben Affleck, but talk in the comments was more about her outfit than the collapse of her fourth marriage. While users on Just Jared trashed Jen’s footwear, saying that her shoes didn’t fit, those on The Daily Mail cringed at the outfit, calling the pop star “embarrassing.” Lopez was out to promote her new Unstoppable movie, one already making headlines as she wore her undies-free “revenge” dress to its premiere in September.

Going belted as she opted for a cinched waist, the “Jenny From The Block” hitmaker flaunted her hourglass waistline via a tucked-in blouse, teaming her cream shirt with her oversized jacket. Wearing her jacket open, Jen completed her look with a tan pair of high heels, rocking a statement platform as she added height to her frame.
Sporting poker-straight highlighted locks worn down, the JLo Beauty founder kept glam with tons of sunkissed makeup, going heavy on the bronzer as she wore a glossy, rosy lip. JLo also held a small cream purse, one matching her jacket.

Users weren’t too kind. On Just Jared, one fan said: “Sorry but I’m not feeling her look. And what up with that sad face?” with another gaining 40 likes for saying: “She shd get better fitting shoes though.”
Meanwhile, on The Daily Mail, users ripped the Latina apart. “Ugh you just can’t buy class,” one said. “Idk what’s more embarrassing, her mouth open or the fact that she’s hiding her ring finger bcuz it’s bare….lol,” another wrote, with many others remarking that the mom of two was posing with parted lips.
One fan even dubbed JLo’s fashion choice ” a tad cheap,” noting her heavily bronzed look and thigh-skimming hemline.
Lopez made headlines earlier this month for breaking her silence on her divorce. She called the breakup of her 2022-commenced marriage to Ben Affleck “lonely,” however noted that she’s “excited” about the new chapter of her life. The former couple, meanwhile, is still trying to sell the $68 million California mansion they once shared.
