The kind of rod you use in Roblox Fisch has a major impact on the kinds of fish you catch, so it’s only natural to use the best ones. You have to consider the maximum amount of weight the rod can handle—stronger rods can catch bigger fish. Some rods improve your Luck stat, which improves the odds of getting rare fish, earning you more money and filling out your Bestiary. Other rods in Fisch have better Resilience or Speed or even special enchantments!

Magnet Rod
Magnet Rod holds a rank, not for its usefulness in catching fish but for crates. With bait being more or less essential in Roblox Fisch, having a rod specifically for stockpiling bait is an absolute need. If you fish on Sunstone Island, you have a great chance of coming across Quality Bait Crates, which tend to have way better bait than common.
What’s also nice is that it isn’t all that hard to get in Roblox Fisch. As long as you can row to Terrapin Island, with $15,000 in your pocket, the Magnet Rod is yours. If you’re short on change, there are quick and easy ways to make money!
Steady Rod
Now, there are several rods that could take the place of Steady Rod, but it’s so inexpensive and has such a high max kg that I’d argue it’s one of the best rods in Roblox Fisch for beginners and experienced fishermen. It has a solid Luck stat, too (35%, to be specific), and its Resilience is nothing to sneeze at, either.
However, the Lure Speed is abysmal. Luckily, you can enchant it to soften the stat a bit, like the Quality enchantment. Other great options are Steady and Resilient. The Steady Rod can be purchased for a mere $7,000 on Roslit Bay.
Brick Rod
The Brick Rod is incredibly good for mid-game fishermen. It’s so good, you’ll be using it up until your first late-game fishing rod. Its Luck and Resilience stats are high, it has the best base Control stat in Fisch, and it has an infinite Max Kg, so you can catch everything with it.
There are just two itty-bitty problems: its Lure Speed is 0, which can be increased through bait and enchantments, and it’s found by completing the Brick Button puzzle. It’s a bit of a slog to do, but totally worth it, considering it only costs $13,337!
Ethereal Prism Rod
The Ethereal Prism Rod is arguably the best fishing rod in Roblox Fisch since the release of the Mariana’s Veil expansion. Just take a look at these stats:
- Lure Speed: 95%
- Luck: 195%
- Control: 0.25
- Resilience: 45%
- Max Kg: Infinite
Are there fishing rods with more Luck? Certainly. The Destiny Rod has 250% and the Heaven’s Rod has 225%, but the former has abysmal stats elsewhere, and the Ethereal Prism Rod has better stats than Heaven’s Rod. Also, the EPR has a 50% of mutating caught fish with Prismize, multiplying their value by eight.
If you want to get the Ethereal Prism Rod, you’ll have to go deep within the Mariana’s Veil and buy it yourself for $15,000,000, so bring your piggybank.
Seraphic Rod
If you consider yourself among the best fishermen in Roblox Fisch, then you should have the best rod in the game—the Seraphic Rod. Its stats are strong across the board, and it has the second-best Control stat (the first being the Brick Rod). Plus, it has the neat ability to fill your progress bar instantly!
Unfortunately, getting the Seraphic Rod will take you a rather long time and a lot of XP grinding. You’ll have to reach level 1000, but here’s the good news: it doesn’t cost a dime. By the time you get it, you’ll be sick of seeing Captain’s Goldfish.
Rod of the Depths
The Rod of the Depths easily takes a spot as one of the best rods in Roblox Fisch. Its stats alone are great, but the real reason it’s here is its effect: every 3rd catch, a spirit will toss you a random fish. That’s not only great for filling out the Bestiary, but making money, too.
However, getting the Rod of the Depths is a long and painful journey, but totally worth it. You need $750,000, plus the Depths Key, the Vertigo Bestiary filled out, and an Abyssal and Hexed Enchant Relic. Not to mention Basic Diving Gear.
Wisdom Rod
Compared to the rest of the rods here, the Wisdom Rod isn’t anywhere near the top in terms of stats. So why does it get a spot? Because it’s one of the best ways to grind experience. Every 5th fish you catch, you’ll gain 70 to 100% bonus XP from said fish. It’s an excellent fishing rod for reeling in Captain’s Goldfish!
Unfortunately, you need to first unlock crafting in Fisch first. Afterwards, gather a Ruby, two Mythical Driftwood, one Magical Thread, and $50,000 to craft it. Throw on an XP enchantment, like Clever or Insight, and you can boost XP gain even further.
Rod of the Forgotten Fang
Rod of the Forgotten Fang is nearly identical to the Rod of the Depths. For every 3rd catch, you get a bonus fish, but they have to be perfect catches. However, the difference here is that it’s always a higher-tier fish, and it’s always 15 to 20% bigger. You can make a lot of money with this rod!
The problem? You have to craft it, and with rare materials no less. You need two Meg’s Fangs, two Meg’s Spines, and Lunar Thread. Once obtained, you can craft it for $300,000.
Flimsy Rod
What? That crappy fishing rod you start with? Oh, yes! If you’re trying to fish for crafting materials, a Flimsy Rod is perfect for the job. Since its Max Kg is low, as are crafting materials, it minimizes the likelihood you’ll reel in fish rather than materials.
However, the trick is to enchant the Flimsy Rod with a strong Luck enchantment. Something like Immortal, Divine, or Lucky—Immortal being the best of the three. You can then stack bait that improves Resilience, Speed, and Luck even further.
No-Life Rod
The No-Life Rod is a beefed-up Trident Rod, letting you easily catch fish at a breakneck speed, and sometimes stun, too. There is a chance fish will get the Hexed mutation too, multiplying their value by x1.5.
You don’t buy the No-Life Rod in Fisch, though. You earn it by simply reaching level 500. That’s easier said than done, of course, but when you do, you’ll automatically get it.
