Beyonce and Jay-Z continue to wage war against rumors that link them to Diddy. Since being accused of sex trafficking, among other mounting damaging allegations, Diddy’s relationship with the Carters has been scrutinized. Although their names haven’t come up in any lawsuits, accusing fingers have been pointed at the power couple. Now, sources say they are tired of putting up with the speculations.
Although the Roc Nation founder and the Bad Boys Records founder go way back, sources say their relationship has deteriorated in recent years, with Jay-Z keeping his distance. Hence, why he is baffled by the rumors. “What P. Diddy has allegedly done is just plain evil, and they have nothing to do with it, but that’s not stopping the assumptions people are making,” the insider told InTouch Weekly. The informant continued:
“At first, they were taking the stance that it was better to ignore it, but they’re now fighting back because they just can’t stand by and let their reputations get dragged into the mud over lies and conspiracy theories.”
Moving forward, the Billionaire musician has reportedly ordered his lawyer to go after anyone linking him and Beyonce to Diddy. “He’s not going to let it slide,” the insider concluded. “Beyonce is behind him 100% and trusts him completely. She has been very quick to say they will take on this B.S. together, and he couldn’t be more grateful.”
Beyonce & Jay-Z Made Piers Morgan Apologize On Air
The source’s revelation backs recent actions Beyonce and Jay-Z took against Piers Morgan. The British TV personality platformed musician Jaguar Wright on his show Uncensored, where she accused the Izzo rapper of being a “monster” alongside Diddy. Following the episode, Morgan issued an apology to the Carters on air. “We had lawyers contact us to say that those claims were totally false and have no basis in fact,” he explained to the camera. “We’ve therefore complied with a legal request to cut them from the original interview.”
According to the Carters’ attorney, Alex Spiro, Morgan wasn’t sent a cease-and-desist. “I think somebody reported it was a cease and desist. It was quite bluntly an ultimatum, which is, remove that false accusation that’s demonstrably false, or a court’s going to order you to,” he explained. With how Jay-Z and Beyonce made an example of Morgan, accusers might just have to watch their mouths if they have no proof.
