The podcaster believed the rapper had been replaced by a clone and supported her claims with his past interview. In it, Ye declared that if he disappeared and came back acting strange, it would not be him.
Cavallari doubled down on her clone theory, asking listeners to compare Ye’s old pictures to see the alleged difference. Her words sparked supportive comments from fans, who mirrored her thoughts. One Instagram user applauded Cavallari for her bravery in addressing Ye’s situation, while another agreed he was a clone. “They genetically modify our food, can manipulate the weather……what makes you think they can’t clone animals?? VERY real girl,” a conspiracy theorist added.
Cavallari’s clone theory stemmed from Ye’s bizarre behavior of randomly going off the grid and popping out months later. In 2017, he reportedly disappeared from the public for 12 months after canceling his Saint Pablo tour. Ye shut down the rest of the tour in November 2016 following a series of erratic and angry displays. He deleted all his social media accounts and was treated for exhaustion and dehydration at the hospital.
People started questioning his whereabouts as a “Kanye West missing” hashtag trended on X in 2022. Ye’s former manager allegedly told a news outlet he had been unable to contact him for weeks. Ye’s former manager, Thomas St John, had sued the rapper for unpaid fees. He wished to locate his former employer to serve him the papers in person.
