Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is not getting all love after her latest move to unveil who her baby daddy is. The expecting mother released proof of her child’s father to shut the naysayers up following paternity rumors. Blanchard’s DNA drama also entangled her ex-husband Ryan Anderson, who tagged her boyfriend “a homewrecker.”
DNA Diagnostic Center in Fairfield County, Connecticut, performed Blanchard’s paternity test, as seen in her post. With a 99.9 percent paternity probability, the result was set to expire after three years. The 33-year-old uploaded the document on her Instagram, citing Ken Urker as her baby daddy, with a detailed caption that reads:
“There’s been a lot of chatter around the paternity of our baby, and while we’ve known for sure from the beginning, I feel that it’s finally time to put all these theories to rest. Here are the results showing Ken is the father. Ken is going to be an incredible dad, and we are so excited to welcome our baby girl into the world.”
Her controversial paternity post gathered mixed reactions from fans in the comment section. Someone didn’t mince their words; they wrote, “Girl, you messy for this lmfao.” Another commenter who believes it is “no one’s business” thinks she shouldn’t have had to post it. Someone else declared they would never go the route Blanchard chose in handling the situation. Blanchard got some advice that read:
“Why don’t you just live your life for yourself? You have nothing to prove to anyone. The more you stay worried about what the world says about you, the more precious time it takes away from yourself and your new family. Live your life lady!”
Gypsy-Rose Blanchard’s Ex-Husband Was Shocked To Learn About DNA Test Decision
Blanchard’s decision to take a paternity test did not happen unprovoked. We reported earlier that it was all part of Blanchard’s plan to close her chapter with Anderson for good. However, the decision stunned Anderson as he claimed to have never commented about her pregnancy. Anderson explained in the TikTok video that he had no plans to cause drama or any fuss, in his words:
“I’ve never said anything like that. I’ve always said, ‘Guys, it’s not my baby.’ Like, I’ve always said that. And I just think it’s funny. You know, it hit me last night. Guys, Gypsy’s probably already had that procedure done.”
Anderson noted that Blanchard would not tell TMZ about her plan to take a paternity test without prior knowledge. He also called Urker “a homewrecker,” perhaps blaming him for how fast Blanchard moved on from their failed marriage. Anderson expressed his disappointment towards Blanchard’s refusal to contact him directly before doing the test.
For Blanchard, the test was necessary for the baby’s birth certificate, especially since her divorce had not been finalized. It implies that Anderson would be listed as the child’s father under Louisiana law. Hence, a DNA proving Urker is the father must be done to get his name on the birth certificate. The 33-year-old reportedly paid for the procedure and will pay for a second round after the baby’s arrival.
Blanchard and Anderson tied the knot while she was still in custody, serving her 10-year sentence for murder. She filed for divorce early this year and rekindled her romance with Urker a few weeks later. The lovebirds announced their “completely unexpected” first pregnancy together in July, three months after confirming their relationship.
Now that the test is done, Gypsy-Rose Blanchard can move forward knowing she has put the rumors to rest.
