Former American Idol star Adam Lambert looked unrecognizable and stunned his fans during a Tuesday appearance on the Today Show. He revealed an impressive 60-pound weight loss and admits he has nothing to hide, sharing the not-so-secret details of his weight loss success with the audience.
Adam Lambert made no bones about his weight loss details, opening up to the audience and honestly admitting his success, according to the Daily Mail. The singer was dressed to kill in a flashy blue blazer and trousers that highlighted his much thinner physique.
He wasted no time beating around the bush when admitting that his weight loss success stems from using a popular, controversial weight loss drug. Earlier this year, the If I Had You hitmaker opened up about his health journey during an Instagram Live.
Adam admits that he reacted very emotionally to Oprah Winfrey’s Documentary Special: Shame, Blame, and the Weight Loss Revolution. During the IG Live, Adam shared with his fans that he had been using the weight loss drug Mounjaro.
“I’m dropping some tea on you guys right now. I’ve been on Mounjaro for the last I think, what, eight months?’ stated Lambert. The singer said, “I’ve lost almost 60 pounds,’ the star continued. ‘I feel amazing. I still eat, but I eat lighter, and I eat less.”
Adam Lambert Defends His Use Of Weight Loss Drug
Mounjaro is a highly controversial choice of drug for weight loss. It is typically used to manage type 2 diabetes and helps lower blood sugar levels in individuals. Lambert went on to explain to his followers, stating that his blood sugar levels had been high and near diabetes levels.
He understands that there is a lot of conflict surrounding the use of Monjaro for weight loss. But he considered all the facts and decided that it was what he needed to help complete his health journey.
Adam added, “And I know that there’s a lot of chatter about, “Oh, you’re taking it away from diabetes patients.” I mean, quite frankly, that’s the pharmaceutical industry’s issue, not mine. They need to keep up with production.”
“I agree with Adam on this one. It’s demand and supply, supply and demand. If enough people want the drug, more of the drug will be made. You might have to wait a few days, but you’re going to get it,” adds one fan. “Well, at least he is being honest. Hate all these other celebrities who pretend they just eat less and exercise more and SNAP they are super thin suddenly,” another comments.
After losing weight, Adam Lambert reveals that he has never felt better. He claims that thanks to the drug, he feels more confident, and his body feels better than it has in a long time.
Adam Lambert is just one of numerous celebrities who have used Ozempic or Mounjaro to help drop unwanted weight. Celebs including Scott Disick, Oprah Winfrey, Sharon Osbourne, Kelly Clarkson, Jon Gosselin and Charles Barkley are just a few who have honestly admitted using the drugs.
Both Ozempic and Mounjaro are prescription medications that come with a list of possible risks and side effects. It is suggested that you discuss in detail any questions and concerns with her doctor before using the drug.
Adam Lambert claims he is healthy and happy with his results, and that is all that really matters to him.
