The Real Housewives of Orange County’s OG, Vicki Gunvalson, recently revealed she wanted Heather Dubrow fired from the show. The outspoken reality star sat down with Jeff Lewis on November 7, 2024, for a fun interview. During their time together, Vicki chatted about all things Bravo, including her drama with Tamra Judge. She also spilled some tea the next season of RHOC and shared who she believes should be the first to go.
Vicki Is Calling for Tamra’s Firing
If you’ve been keeping up with the drama between Vicki and her ex-best friend, Tamra, then it won’t surprise you to hear the queen bee wants the latter gone. When asked about who she would let go from the series, Vicki didn’t hold back. She first mentioned Tamra’s name, saying the fans have grown tired of her outrageous antics. “She knows I’ve felt that way,” Vicki said. “It’s not because I’m not on and she is. I just think enough is enough.”
As you may recall, Vicki was let go from RHOC following Season 14 in 2020. At the time, she let her fans know that she was moving on to pursue new projects. Tamra also left the series that year; however, she was asked to return a year later. As the current season wraps up, many watchers have voiced their frustration with Tamra—who joined the series in Season 3—and her behavior. According to Vicki, the cast is, too. “I think a change needs to happen,” she said.
Who Else Does Vicki Think Needs To Be Fired From Housewives?
Tamra isn’t the only star on the Real Housewives with whom Vicki Gunvalson has a problem—Heather Dubrow is also on the chopping block. The television personality, who’s married to Botched star Dr. Terry Dubrow, joined the show in 2012. She quickly became a fan favorite due to her lavish lifestyle, luxury fashions, massive mansions, and blunt personality. Before departing the show in 2016, Heather (also known as “Fancy Pants”) fought incessantly with OC’s big hitters. Her biggest feuds occurred with Tamra, Vicki, and their close ally, Shannon Beador.
Eventually, Heather rejoined the cast in 2022, but now, Vicki wonders why she’s still there. Elsewhere, during her chat with Jeff, Vicki said most cast members join the show for the riches and attention. However, she believes Heather has “all [of] that.” She continued, saying she didn’t understand Heather’s decision. “I love Heather,” she said. “I think she’s great. [And] I love [her husband]. I don’t understand why she’s doing it. Enough is enough.”
As Vicki finished the interview, she also talked trash about a few other cast members. Another Housewife who she said should be axed is Alexis Bellino. The veteran reality star called her “toxic” before saying she’s also a “nightmare.” After all, her storyline this season has been centered primarily around making Shannon miserable. Perhaps Vicki has a point.
Season 18 of RHOC is wrapping up now, with Part 3 of the reunion airing on November 21, 2024. Once this year’s batch of episodes concludes, fans of the show will have to sit tight until Bravo makes their plan for Season 19 clear. However, with the heightened frustrations surrounding certain members of the current cast, it’s unlikely that it’ll be the same. So, if you are a fan of the current lineup, you better cherish them while they last.
