He revealed his secret in a new interview for People Magazineโs Sexiest People Alive. The 36-year-old confessed that he has some rules that guide his love life and draw the ladies to him. First on the list is cooking โ something Gomez and Blanco bond over. โIf you don’t know how to cook it โ learn it,โ he advised. โTry to be chivalrous: Tell her how pretty she is. Chivalry’s not dead.โ However, Blancoโs biggest love weapon in his arsenal seems to be his ability to plan unforgettable first fates. The Eastside producer explained that he always wants first dates to be โinsaneโ and โleave an impression.โ However, he doesnโt just stop at just the first date but like to make every one memorable.
โI go all out for every date. We go all out for each other. One time, Sel was like, โOh, I want to take you on a date.โ We drove somewhere, and she had rented out a whole botanical garden for me. She also likes something so simple.โ
Blanco then recalled how he wowed Gomez with the simple things for Valentineโs Day 2024. He revealed that he got her Taco Bell, movie-theater nachos, and her favorite pickles from Texas.

โThe first time me and Sel were really going to be long distance for a while, she made a bear that, when I pressed its hand, it said, โI miss you so much. You’re going to be okay. I’ll see you when I get back.โ She’s very good at gifting.โ
