The script for this new film was allegedly written to lure in Ryan Gosling and his Barbie co-star, Margot Robbie. It seems they were to be the new faces of the series. It seems as though Ryan is actively picking up roles that were offered to Brad first. The source continues by saying that copycats have always been a big problem for Pitt in his career. However, it may just be that he is “insecure about his stardom.”

When another actor picks up the roles that were offered to Brad, “that gets his attention.” It really gets him going if it happens multiple times. Pitt may be thinking that he doesn’t have a lot of movies left in him as he is already 60 years old. However, Brad may also be upset that another star is getting to the cash cow that is Ocean’s Eleven. Especially if it is someone that Brad somewhat respects, like Gosling. Pitt was a very vocal cheerleader for the Barbie movie. Now, with these latest developments, Brad seems to be “sharpening knives.”
