Pete Davidson has reportedly returned to rehab after a previous stay earlier this year. The Saturday Night Live alum is said to be continuing his battle with mental health issues and is now receiving more treatment at a center in Florida. This comes after the comedian allegedly had a secret romance with reality TV villain Maria Georgas, which was considered a “fling,” and has now ended.
Sources tell the U.S. Sun that Pete Davidson is back in treatment following the end of his relationship with Bachelor star Maria Georgas. Sadly, he was said to be in rough shape when he entered the rehab facility this time around.
“He ended a fling with Maria just before he checked in,” said an informant.
Davidson was seen earlier this month making a cameo on Saturday Night Live when he longtime friend John Mulaney hosted the variety show on November 2. Just days before that, he attended the premiere of The Room with his close friend, singer Machine Gun Kelly. Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, has recently undergone his own rehab stay and is now working hard to stay sober amid news that his girlfriend Megan Fox is pregnant with the couple’s first child.
Pete Davidson Checks Back Into Rehab
Pete was last seen in Tennessee on November 5. Since that time, he’s been mostly out of the spotlight. He wasn’t even seen celebrating his 31st birthday last week. Before that, fans had thought that Davidson was looking healthy and happy. He was even spotted with a new look that included the removal of several of his tattoos.
“He checked into rehab in Florida fairly recently,” an insider tells the outlet. “He flew in on a private jet.” The source added that Pete’s “in pretty bad shape this time around. He’s not in a good place.”
In the past, Pete Davidson has struggled with issues that have led him to rehab at least four times. He’s been extremely open about his struggles with mental health and addiction issues. He previously checked into rehab back in July after canceling several tour dates for his standup show. He had been out of the rehab program just weeks before reportedly checking back in this month.
“Pete Davidson always ends up in rehab/mental hospital after almost every relationship. It happened with Ariana Grande and Kaia Gerber. He’s not ok,” one fan wrote via Reddit.
“What a curse that guy has , can pull the most beautiful woman on earth but they always leave,” said another.
In recent years, Davidson has made some big life changes. He opted to leave SNL. He’s also had some public breakups with women such as Kim Kardashian and Madeline Cline. Meanwhile, he’s been rumored to have had a bit of a falling out with his good friend and former Saturday Night Live co-star, Colin Jost.
Pete Davidson’s camp has yet to speak out on the reports that he’s returned to rehab. However, his fans are wishing him well as he continues to receive help for his ongoing issues.
