Stormy Daniels is one person who won’t be receiving an invite to Donald Trump’s next inauguration. The actress made headline news during the 2016 election when reports surfaced of an alleged affair between her and Trump. Earlier this year, she testified in his hush money trial, where he was found guilty of 34 felony charges. The threat of prison didn’t stop his 2024 Presidential campaign, and he defeated Kamala Harris in a landslide victory. Now, the outspoken Daniels is chiming in with her opinion on her former lover’s election win.
Like millions of other people, Daniels was stunned by the election results. “I keep waking up every few hours going, ‘This is a nightmare,’” she tells OK! Magazine. “I was like, ‘Maybe if I slept for another couple of hours, I’ll wake up and this will be a nightmare.”
Daniels, who’s been open about her past relationship with the newly elected President, now feels that it was a waste of time.
I told my husband this morning, ‘Today is the first day where I feel like it was all for nothing.’ All those days I missed with my daughter, all of those dance recitals I missed. They were for a greater good, and I feel like I have failed.
Stormy Daniels Is Moving Away From Her Past With Donald Trump
Daniels has caught a lot of flak from Trump supporters. While most of it was online harassment, things took a dangerous turn during the trial.
”His attorneys accidentally put paperwork on the screen that had my address. I haven’t been home since July,” she revealed. “My horses were shot, all this stuff happened. I’m still living in an RV and hiding.”
It’s been a trying time for the actress, but she has support from her husband Barrett Blade and her friends.
Although she’ll always been hounded because of her past with Trump, Daniels is trying to move forward.
She’s currently hosting Season 3 of the reality series For the Love of DILFs, a job she loves. “I’m grateful and humbled. I’m just happy I can continue to work on the show and I have a job with them. It’s so much fun,” she explained.
Daniels says the cast and crew are a close-knit group, and were there for her after the 2024 election results.
The first three messages I received on my phone were from people that I met from that show. They all reached out before my family, before my childhood friends. It’s people who are now like my family.
Stormy Daniels might need her new family’s comfort and support for the next four years.
